You'll always remember your first Vaping experience mine was with Nicolites disposable electronic cigarettes.
2/3/11...this day would change my life forever, for two reasons 1) the birth of my son 2) discovering Nicolites.
After watching my son being born into this world I decided to go home and celebrate the occasion with some beers and my usual pack of 20 cigarettes, on the journey to the shop it suddenly dawned on me that I needed to change my lifestyle, I knew I had to quit smoking well aware of how bad they are for you.
Taking the beers to the kiosk checkout I noticed these electronic cigarettes and the price was £3 cheaper than the usual cigarettes, having already realised I needed to quit I awkwardly asked for "one of those electric ones please" whilst looking round making sure no one was looking as it felt weird buying it (strange but true lol).
Long story short...if it wasn't for my son giving me the motivation to quit and Nicolites giving me the alternative to smoking I probably would still be on regular cigarettes today.
The Review!!
Looks:- Probably as close you can get to looking like a traditional cigarette.
Ease of use:- extremely simple to use after you remove the protective cap, use them like you would a traditional cigarette (just don't try to light it ).
Flavour:- This particular Nicolites. electronic cigarette was tobacco flavour which I now know as RY4, it's a sweet caramel tobacco flavour which I really enjoyed even today, don't expect them to taste like your regular cigarettes.
Vapour production:- very good for a disposable, I was actually surprised.
Throat hit:- Can't say I actually noticed, this was "high" strength at 16mg, I normally vape 18mg so didn't feel a thing.
Battery life:- I could get a few days of use out of one, if your just starting out though you'll be lucky to get a few hours out of it as you'll be constantly on it (trust me...you will).
Overall:-Nicolites have slightly changed since I first bought them in 2011, they are now smaller and lighter, battery lasts a lot longer, flavour has improved loads.
Score:- 8/10
If your looking at getting off the cigarettes and want to try vaping but don't want to commit to buying an ego/Evod style setup then the Nicolites are a great starting point. They got me off cigarettes and they can do the same for you.
